For many of us, Sacred Heart WAS our home, and our classmates became our family. And what a family it was!!! From those ugly green or white dresses we wore to athletics, to studying in the bathroom stalls after the nuns went to bed, to food in our rooms, cigarettes in our purses (we know who we are) and sugar fixes at Blum's. Boarding school at it's best.

I'll remember every laugh, every good cry, and every loving word of encouragement, but most of all I'll cherish everything our "Mothers" imparted to us as children (young women) of the Sacred Heart. Thank God my parents entrusted me to their care...can you imagine where I would have ended up?
